In a prior post, I talked about the fact that music is, to me, one of the greatest aspects of being a part of the baby boomer generation. We broke ground. We broke rules. We broke records. Our music captured everything that was good, bad, hopeful and frightening about was what happening to us, to our country and to our world.
Stop, children, what’s that sound? Our music was quite often a call to action. Action, that I believe, our generation still needs to take.
We can make it happenIt was in music that I really thought–really believed–signaled our generation’s determination to leave this world a better place than how we found it. Have we done that? Umm…hardly. Can we still do it? Yes. I think one of the best things we can do with our post-retirement businesses is the work we so believed in when we were young and idealistic. What say you?
